Studio in a School

 Our studio in a school program began this week with a visit from our resident artist, Monika. Monika is a sculptor and painter. She first introduced us to a few painters who make art using different kinds of lines. We talked about all the different kinds of lines you could make: straight, think, thin, wavy, curly, etc. We then learned how to use a variety of paint brushes to make lines.

Here, students are exploring making line art using black paint and white paper. Look at all the lines we made!
